Brooke depot
Brooke's musical career stems back to 5th grade when the family clarinet passed down through generations became hers. Through middle school and high school, Brooke explored a variety of musical instruments -- clarinet, bass guitar, euphonium. She finally discovered the trombone in high school jazz band and decided to make it her primary instrument.
Brooke attended the University of Rhode Island from 2009-2013 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Psychology. During her time at URI, Brooke was a member of the URI Marching Band, Concert Band, Big Band, Trombone Choir, and Pep Band. She also participated as a trombonist in the Larry Brown Swinglane Orchestra and the 50s and 60s revue band "The B-Sides." Today, Brooke enjoys a career in real estate. She lives in Cumberland, Rhode Island with her husband, two children, and their dog Marlow. Music plays a significant role in her family life, and Brooke prides herself in showing her kids the importance of doing what you love every day. |
