EMILY HOFMANN
Emily Hofmann has been playing the trumpet since she was 10 years old. Originally she wanted to play the flute but a demonstration by a local female trumpet player convinced her that trumpet was the only
instrument for her. She went on to get a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Performance from the University of New Hampshire where she received a full scholarship. She studied trumpet with Robert Stibler and Edward Carroll while in school and played in the Wind Ensemble, Orchestra, Jazz Band, and several small ensembles. Currently Emily plays with the Metropolitan Wind Symphony and loves all types of music.
During the day Emily is the Payroll Manager for Tripadvisor. Besides playing the trumpet she also loves to sew, quilt, bake, run, hike, camp, travel, read, game, and spend time with her family and friends (no wonder she is always so busy).
