Joyce Harrington
A founding member of the SheBop Swing Orchestra, Joyce has a BA in Saxophone Performance and studio teaching from Edinboro University of PA and an MM in Music from the New England Conservatory. She is the former Director of Music in the Abington Public School and co-founder and conductor of the Abington Community Band.
Joyce has been a 20+ year member of the Arthur Medeiros Swing Orchestra and a past member of the Mike Lyons Big Band.
She is currently a member of the American Band of Providence, a member of RISQ (the Rhode Island Saxophone Quartet) and is a freelance musician in Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts.
