RYLEE ALLEN 

Rylee Allen is a Boston-based pianist and High School Instrumental Music Director. She recently completed her Bachelor’s in Music Education at Berklee College of Music and has just recently begun working at Belmont Hill School for Boys as their Interim Instrumental Music Director. While at Berklee, she studied piano with Zahili Gonzalez-Zamora, Kevin Harris, and Laszlo Gardony. She directed and performed in the Education Collective Big Band for Berklee’s Music Education Department in the Fall of 2021 and Spring of 2022.

​For the past 4 years, Rylee has been teaching piano lessons or volunteering in instrumental music settings. She has recently professionally added teaching High School Symphonic Band, Rock Band, Jazz Ensemble, Music Theory, and Music Technology to her teaching repertoire.

​Outside of teaching, Rylee has performed in piano trios, combos, and big bands. The Education Collective was a big band she formed entirely of aspiring and current Music Educators, and she is currently working to form a combo of a similar variety called The Young Professors.
